The Maya Warrior Initiation is a structured, immersive experience designed to challenge, awaken, and realign you—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.Rooted in ancient Maya tradition.Guided by the Maya people, wisdom of the land,

the cultural & geographic heart of the Yucatán.Mérida is widely regarded as the safest city in Mexico, offering an exceptionally secure & stable environment.From this central location, you will move daily
into the surrounding lands of the Yucatán peninsula.Transportation:You will be picked up and returned to
Mérida International Airport (MID)
and transported throughout the experience
in air-conditioned private vehicles.Flights to and from Mérida are not included
and are the responsibility of each participant.Arrival and departure times must be coordinated prior to booking to ensure smooth transfers and group alignment.

To maintain the integrity of the work, there will be
no plant medicines, no recreational drugs,
no alcohol, or nudity permitted.This is not about restriction— it is about clarity, presence, and respect for the space we are entering together.Confidentiality is held within the group.
What is shared in the container stays in the container.You are expected to show up fully—
present, engaged, and willing to participate.This container is built on accountability, presence,

Co-Founder & Lead FacilitatorBrett West is the co-founder and lead facilitator of the Maya Warrior Initiation.Author of Seven Days to Lead Yourself: A Developmental Reset to Reclaim Attention, Depth, and Leadership for Men, husband & father of eight, former military serviceman, and experienced facilitator of men's transformational work, Brett brings a grounded, direct approach to
helping men reclaim discipline, personal responsibility,
and embodied masculine leadership.With a background in developmental psychology,
private protection, and leadership under pressure,
he leads from wisdom forged through real-life challenge and lived experience.

Senior Facilitator | Rites of Passage & BrotherhoodGeoff 'Rawa' Larden is the senior facilitator of the Maya
Warrior Initiation, and the founder of Bold x Centred—
a men’s initiatory movement devoted to awakening grounded, heart-centred leadership.Through rites of passage, brotherhood circles, and

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the Yucatán safe for travel?

Yes. The Yucatán is widely regarded as one of the safest regions in Mexico, with Mérida frequently recognized among the safest cities in North America. We prioritize participant wellbeing and carefully manage all logistics.

Do I need travel or medical insurance?

Yes. While we do carry general group insurance, participants are encouraged to carry appropriate travel and medical insurance that covers international travel, trip interruption, and personal health needs to ensure complete coverage.

Can I bring my wife / partner?

The Maya Warrior Initiation is intentionally designed as a men-only immersive experience. To preserve the focus, challenge, and brotherhood of the container, partners are not invited to participate in the experience at this time.

Can I bring a friend / coworker?

Men are welcome to apply alongside a friend, brother, or coworker. Each man must complete his own application and be accepted individually.

Can I bring my child / adult child?

This experience is structured as a focused men’s immersion and is not designed for accompanying children or family guests at this time. Adult sons who are aligned with the experience are welcome to apply individually.

What if I’ve never done anything like this before?

That’s okay. Many men enter experiences like this for the first time. What matters most is openness, coachability, and willingness to step forward.

What happens after I apply?

Applications are reviewed personally in the order they are received. Selected applicants will have access to a private conversation with lead facilitator & co-founder Brett West, followed by an invitation to book. Applicants not immediately selected will be placed on a priority waitlist and contacted as opportunities open.

Is this physically demanding?

While this initiation is well-balanced with rest and integration periods, many aspects of the experience include movement, challenge, and outdoor activity in the sun & heat. Men do not need to be athletes, but should be willing and capable of participating fully and responsibly.

By applying to and participating in the Maya Warrior Initiation, you agree to the following terms:
This is a private, curated experience. Participation is by application and acceptance only.
All payments are final unless otherwise stated.
Deposits and payments are non-refundable. They secure your place in the container and commit resources on your behalf.
If you are accepted and choose to pay in full, your payment confirms your commitment to attend. Due to the nature of this experience and the limited capacity, refunds are not guaranteed. In the unlikely event that the retreat must be cancelled or rescheduled by the organisers, participants will be offered a transfer to a future initiation or an alternative arrangement.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including flights and travel insurance.
You are required to carry valid travel insurance for the duration of your experience.
This container is a focused and intentional environment. By participating, you agree to the container agreements, including no use of plant medicines, recreational drugs, alcohol, or disruptive behaviour.
You agree to take full responsibility for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the experience.
